…stuck out in distinctly hostile territory today. Our dear friend Mike Buchanan created this image for Memorial Day, but I think it’s appropriate now. I spoke with an amazing mom yesterday at an appearance who’d seen THREE sons go to Iraq. One son came back without an arm and part of his leg. We both cried a little and she talked about how proud she was of him. When everyone has a moment today, can you send out a prayer…a happy thought–heck, throw clams at the sun if that is your spiritual bent–but it would be wonderful to send these men and women a big fat burst of love today. They certainly deserve it.
