I call this bad boy “clipless couponing!”

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Oct 23, 2009 in Coupons

PP GazetteSo, I know I’ve gloated shamelessly over these fellas before, but in case you’re new, the PP Gazette is for girls like us who are proud of themselves if they manage to remember their reusable shopping bags when they hit the store!  It’s all the coupons from the circulars (so you don’t have to “borrow” your neighbor’s Sunday paper anymore) and piles of others.  You can print right away, hold them for later, and you’ll be surprised at some of the big stores who have coupon generators here!

What’s our mantra at That Went Well?

Stocking up for the holidays…

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Oct 23, 2009 in Coupons

gevaliastainless“Stocking up!”  Get it?  Hah!

Anyway, I’m starting to stockpile cute gifties when the bargains come up so that I’m not the lone female on Christmas Eve arm-wrestling the guys for that last set of off-brand cheese and crackers.

The latest?  The Gevalia folks put up a GREAT offer: pay $14.95 for 2 boxes of Gevalia and get a 12-cup stainless steel encased programmable coffeemaker and a stainless steel coffee scoop, a $108.00 value absolutely FREE with no future commitment.  They’re serious about that, by the way, this is one of the great companies when it comes to simply giving you the goods and backing off.  You can order it here!

Win a year’s supply of Pamper’s!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Oct 23, 2009 in Coupons, Coupons for Baby

babydiaperI don’t even want to remember what we spent on diapers when the twins were small…I just remember buying them by the case.  My more savvy girlie Kellie joined Pampers.com, she gets a lot of random coupon booklets in the mail and the occasional free-bee.  They’ve got a fun contest right now:  join Pampers.com for a chance to win a year’s supply of diapers.

Free-bee starter kit from Tampax!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Oct 23, 2009 in Free-Bees Giveaways

tampaxI know I’m being a little cruel here, but a friend of ours–a single dad–just called me in a fit of hysterics because he has to have the “You’re Becoming A Woman” talk with his 11 year old.  He tried to foist it off on me.  After I finished laughing at him (Editor’s note: you would have, too.  He was having a major fit of the nellies) I sent off for this really cool sample pack for him.

It’s called Being A Girl, and the entire offer is free!  It includes 2 Tampax Pearl Tampons, 1 Tampax Compak Tampon, 1 Always Infinity Pad, 2 Always Pantiliners, 1 Always Feminine Wipe, and a coupon for a free 18-count box of Always Infinity.  Not bad, eh?

PS: I know I’m going to end up doing this talk, but I just want him to suffer a little.
