More magazines on the cheap!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Nov 3, 2009 in Unfiled Stuff

hbDeal Seeking Mom has reminded me that there’s actually a pile of great magazines on sale this month on Amazon.com.  A year’s subscription to someone’s favorite magazine is a great stocking stuffer, maybe for a coworker or a hostess gift?  I roll up the current issue with a ribbon and a card stating that a year’s subscription is on the way.  Here’s some more options…

Sneaky inside tip: Since first delivery is 6-8 weeks away, I’d suggest ordering these now so that your recipient gets the January issue promptly.

Toy coupon match-ups for the Holidays…

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Nov 3, 2009 in Coupons, Coupons for Baby, Coupons for Kids

toysThere’s some great new toy coupon offers from Target right now, remember that you can use both a manufacturer coupon AND a store coupon and double your savings!  I’m printing off a group to use with the ones I picked up from Hasbro (Editor’s note: click on “toys and games” in the left column) and from Leapfrog.  Scroll through and see what works for you!  Sneaky inside tip: If you’re holding these for Black Friday shopping, be sure to check expiration dates!

Thanks for the help, One Cheap Chick!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Nov 3, 2009 in Free-Bees Giveaways

phoneRedbox has changed the way they handle free-bee codes, so instead of a code everyone can use, Redbox is texting or emailing out individual single-use codes to everyone.  Go here to register for yours.
