Veteran’s Day “thanks you’s”
These men and women deserve anything and everything we can give them. The Todd and I were flying back from New England today, and I watched an older gentleman get up from his First Class seat on our plane and insist that a lady in uniform take his seat. Even if you can’t afford to be that fabulous, maybe suggest some of these goodies to someone you know…
Applebee’s: Veterans and active duty military can receive a free entrée when they show proof of military service.
Krispy Kreme: Veterans and active military personnel get a free donut of their choice.
Outback Steakhouse: All veterans and active duty military will receive a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage. Just show proof of military service.
Famous Dave’s is offering a FREE meal (from a select menu) to all active duty and veterans on 11/11. Make sure to bring in some form of military identification. This is dine-in only (and does not include alcohol)
Hyvee – Hyvee stores (found in the midwest) will provide a FREE breakfast for veterans from 7am – 11am in participating stores with in-store dining. See details & locations HERE
Sam’s Club – FREE Hugo canes to military veterans who need mobility assistance. They will be giving out 25,000 canes and you do not need to be a member of Sam’s Club. May need to show military identification. Go HERE for more details
National Parks & Forests & Wildlife Refuges – Free admission to all National Parks, National Forests, Wildlife Refuges, & more on Wed 11/11 to veterans. See HERE for details.
Golden Corral – Free dinner from 5-9pm for anyone who has served in the military (veterans, retired, currently serving, or National Guard & Reservists). No identification needed. Go HERE for more details.
Knott’s Berry Farm – Free admission to all active duty and veterans plus one guest free from Nov 1-24th. Go HERE for details.
