The Neilsen Panel is accepting new panelists!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Nov 18, 2009 in Resources

Not that I’m bitter or anything, but The Todd and I have applied for the Neilsen Panel three times and never got accepted.  I guess they don’t need our zip code.  But I’m telling you, this is the Rock Star of the work at home programs.  My girlie Amy still brags that she got the family’s entire Christmas shopping done last year through the points and credits she picked up from the Neilsen Panel.  Here’s a short form to just check if this can work for you.  If you get in, let us follow along!  Click on Mr. Happy Flashing Box!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Nov 18, 2009 in Free-Bees Giveaways

Six times more pictures will be taken of you in the next six weeks than in the rest of the year.   A gleaming set of yellow choppers is probably not the look you were going for.  That Went Well needs guinea pigs–ah participants–to try out Dazzle Bright.  It’s a teeth whitening system, and there’s a free 30 day trial.  The first two budgetistas to order the free into kit, try it out for two weeks and send us a picture of your before and after pearlies with the kit in the picture win a $25.00 target gift card!  Shopping, gloating, AND white teeth!  Happy Holidays, baby!  Click on the box below to get started!dogg

Editor’s note: when you order your free kit, will you just drop me a note so I can keep track of everyone who’s playing along?  Thanks!

Click to Give

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Nov 18, 2009 in Activist Mom, Charities--what's your passion? Need one?

I told you about Click To Give yesterday–they have 5 different charities to pick from, I’m going to profile one a day until you find the one that means the most to you.  Simply put: you click on the site–you do not have to buy anything–and the advertising sponsor contributes money to your chosen cause.  100% of the sponsor’s money goes to the charity, which I love.  This goes with my personal “give every day” mantra.  It doesn’t have to be money to mean something…

Victoria’s Secret has some great new deals!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Nov 18, 2009 in Coupons for Mommy

vspantyRemember when I said I’d really owe The Todd for taking care of everything while I struggled against the Sweet Embrace of Death known as the Swine Flu?  My first mistake was showing him our Pink Nation membership from Victoria’s Secret.  He threw this email offer on my sickbed this morning with a huge smile.  Sigh.

Through November 25th, all Victoria’s Secret Pink hoodies and sweatshirts are 50% off–on sale for $25 .00!  Plus, you’ll also be able to pick up a free-bee Lacie Panty with any $30.00 or more purchase–more details here!  And here’s your Sneaky inside tip:  Pink Nation members can print off an additional $10.00 off a $50.00 or more purchase.

Here’s Sneaky inside tip #2: VS also has a special Mystery Rewards Card promotion.  You’ll get a Victoria’s Secret Reward Card with every online purchase and any in-store purchase of $10.00 or more through 11.30. The reward card value is a mystery until you make a purchase December 1st-24th. Each card is at least worth $10.00, and apparently there’s thousands of cards out there that’ll be worth over$100.00!

“Polar Express” pajama party at Border’s this Saturday!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Nov 18, 2009 in Free-or Cheap-Family Fun

polarexpress_storelocatorHands-down, my twins’ favorite holiday tradition is climbing aboard the old-fashioned steam train that turns into the Polar Express in December.  The Heber Creeper is up in the mountains, and you really do begin to feel like you’re on your way to the North Pole.  Everyone can capture a little of that–for free!–at Border’s this Saturday (11.21) with the “Polar Express” Pajama party.  As always, call ahead to make sure your store is participating.  Check here for a store near you.

Sneaky inside tip: Be sure to sign up for your free Border’s member card before you go–rumor has it that there’s all kinds of special offer for members this weekend!
