Cereal on the cheap!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Dec 12, 2009 in Coupons |

cerealI’ve always been outraged at how expensive cereal is, when I know what it costs to manufacture.  Here’s some weaponry in the cereal wars…

General Mills: $1 off one box of  Trix, Cocoa Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Lucky Charms.

General Mills and Kellogg’s:  if you missed my post yesterday about Coupons.com, they always have several great ones, go here.

Kellogg’s: Target has a coupon worth $5 off any four packages of cereal. Since this is a manufacturer’s coupon, supposedly, you could use it at any store that sells Kellogg’s cereal. Do remember that sometimes, stores will refuse to accept a coupon with another store’s name on it.

Sneaky inside tip: I tried a little experiment, and took the coupons to both Walgreen’s and CVS.  Both accepted the Target coupons!

Thanks, One Cheap Chick!
