Are YOU A Good Egg?

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Jan 15, 2010 in Free-Bees Giveaways, Free-or Cheap-Family Fun

egggHow cute is this?  Remember when America’s Egg Farmers offered you the bogo free eggs last month?  They’re back with a great idea: America’s Egg Farmers are kicking off a contest searching for incredible people!  Starting today, you can upload a video of your own or your child’s extraordinary mind/body talents to www.incredibleegg.org.  One winner will have a chance to appear in an incredible edible egg ad campaign along with a year supply of eggs.  Also, America’s egg farmers will donate 10,000 eggs to the winner’s local food bank of choice and donate one egg to Feeding America for every video uploaded!

I love the idea of being able to share your winnings with those who truly need it–fresh food is such a luxury for foodbanks!  The nice folks over at America’s Egg Farmers have given us 4 darling t-shirts give away.  I’ll give them to the first four people who send us a link of their video post–plus, it’ll give us a chance to pimp your video and push for votes!  Send your videos in, and good luck!

Photo Valentine Cards for $4.99, Shipped!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Jan 15, 2010 in Free-Bees Giveaways

loveCoolness!  See Here is back with a great offer for Valentine’s Day–you can can pick up 50 personalized photo Valentine’s cards with envelopes for only $4.99 shipping!  Serously, how cute is this?  It’s an elegant way to celebrate with everyone without having to pick up the Transformer’s Valentine’s pack at the grocery store.  (Editor’s note: autobiographical.  My boss looked at his Optimus Prime valentine for a minute and said “I think you’ve been home with the twins too long.”)

Go to See Here, open a new account and click on the “holiday” link for 4×6 photo cards, there’s lots of designs to choose from.  Use the code “newbaby” at checkout and you’ll be charged only $4.99 for shipping!  I did this at Christmas for holiday cards and was stunned at how pretty they were.

Free-Bee Ebook, Free-Bee Crafts!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Jan 15, 2010 in Free-Bees Giveaways, Free-or Cheap-Family Fun

FaveCrafts

Whenever my sisters and I get sick of all the crap that’s piling up around our houses, we start a new competition with our kids–what can you create from materials on hand, rather than buying more stuff?  There’s a great new E Book out for crafters–the books is a free-bee, and all the crafts inside are designed to cost you nada.  It’s a great way to teach my beastly twins resourcefulness, instead of raiding their piggy bank for everything new.  You can download it here.   I’d love to see what you can create!

Up to 30% off at Kohl’s!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Jan 15, 2010 in Clearance sales

Got a heads-up from Kohl’s that they’re knocking an additional 15-30% off everything store-wide, along with free shipping (over a purchse of $75.00) for Kohl’s cardholders.  I’m not a huge fan of department store cards.  BUT, if you’re good about paying off the entire amount every month, this one could work for you.  Kohl’s is very good about monthly specials just for card holders.  You can find out more here.
