Free, Expert Financial Advice!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Jan 25, 2010 in Free-Bees Giveaways, Resources

paperworkDo you ever wish you could sit down with a personal financial advisor and shriek “fix my finances!”  Well, they can’t fix everything, but you’d be surprised how much help a conversation with one of these smart monkeys can be.

Kiplinger’s personal finance magazine and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors are staging the ”Kiplinger’s Jump-Start Your Retirement Plan Days”  Tuesday (1.26)  from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. eastern time. The annual event provides a rare opportunity to talk to an experienced fee-only planner at no cost.

Normally, these fee-only planners, who can provide guidance in investments, taxes, insurance, estate planning, and saving for college and retirement, charge clients $150 to $300 per hour. For more information, go here. To talk to an adviser during the event, call 888-919-2345.

Thaks, One Cheap Chick!

Join the Gluten-Free Circle!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Jan 25, 2010 in Free-Bees Giveaways

glutenMy tufted ears perked up when I heard about the Gluten-Free Circle–the twins are on a fairly strict gluten-free diet.  We’re lucky: gluten-free used to mean horrible food and a very limited choice.   There’s piles of new food every day, big selections even in mainstream grocery stores, and top brands are coming out with new gluten-free products every day.  Join the Gluten-Free Circle, and they’ll send you free-bee samples, recipes and different resources to make the diet easier.
