Hey, locals: wedge the kids into their snow pants and drag ‘em up to Utah’s Hogle Zoo on Wednesday (1.27.10.) It’s free-bee admission all day, thanks to Salt Lake’s ZAP tax. The train is put away for the winter, but the Conservation Carousel should still be operating. Our twins almost prefer winter at the Zoo, since many of the animals are more active. Be sure to visit the big cats–they’re incredible this time of year! Go here for times and directions.
