Win A Year’s Groceries From Hannaford
Every summer we head for The Todd’s family cottage on Square Pond in Maine. Like all Collard traditions, food is heavily involved, so we stop on our way from the airport at the Hannaford grocery store in Acton. It always bums me out that we don’t have them here in Utah–they carry the coolest stuff, tons of ready-made meals and they’re incredibly inexpensive. Even the lobsters! (Editor’s note: seriously, you don’t think I’m going to Maine and not getting lobster the first day, do you?)
Here’s your chance to win a year’s worth of groceries if you’re lucky enough to have a Hannford close by. Sign up for their nice little newsletter here and get great coupons, meal plans and recipes. You can pick their weekly flyer, wine or healthy living emails in order to qualify.

Free-Bee Day At Discovery Gateway!
Hey, locals, get a look at this: Discovery Gateway opens it’s doors this Wednesday (3.17.10) for free. We have a family pass–and get our money’s worth, believe me–but it is a little spendy if you only make it there once a year.
Enjoy the Big Beehive of music, the cool helicopter on the pad outside, create your own stop-motion movie, all for free! I’m warning you, there’s way too much to fit in one day, so you’ll likely end up getting a family pass, just like me.
There’s more info here.
