meadowThe Ogden Nature Center is celebrating with a free-bee day of fun–soda bottle seed growing, entertainment, a native plant sale, a recycled arts and crafts sale…it’s free if you walk, bike or ride the bus, or only $1.00 if you drive.  The fun starts at noon and runs through 4pm on Saturday.  Go here for more info.

redrockAt the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, kids can create a gorgeous painted canvas–free!  “View The Continuing Allure”: Painters of Utah’s Red Rock and be inspired by the landscape of your home state as you paint a stretched canvas to adorn the walls of your home.  Created for children ages four to twelve, the activities are designed to give kids a better understanding of artworks in the museum’s collection and in special exhibitions.  Go here for directions and info.
