Hey, locals–on this lovely state holiday, there’s piles and piles of free-bee activities.  Behold:

OpenDaily-webgraphicFree admission to Tracey Aviary on Saturday, 7.24–the birds are adorable, and your kids can help feed the pelicans!  Find more info on their free day here.  

plan5And at Red Butte Gardens, our family’s hands-down favorite summer spot, it’s also free “Garden Gift Day” on Saturday, 7.24.  Find directions and info here. 

planetMoving up north, there’s tons of free-bees, including open pool admission.  Thanks to Weber County’s goal to offer free Saturday fun, you can indulge at Roy Recreation Complex, North Ogden Pool, and Lorin Farr Pool.  There’s also adventure to be had free at Ft. Bueneventura, The Ott Planetarium, Ogden Nature Center and Hill Areospace Museum.  You can find more info here. 

47And, of course, the PARADES!  Nearly every city has one, but the grandaddy is of course the Days of ’47 Parade in SLC.  The route and more info here.
