Veteran’s Day Freebies

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Nov 7, 2011 in Free-Bees Giveaways |

Aside from the pleasing symmetry of Friday’s date being 11-11-11, it’s also Veteran’s Day.  While working in radio in Norfolk, Va. and Washington DC, I was privileged to befriend many military servicemen and women.  The sacrifices their families make to serve the country is simply amazing to me.  I’ll be reposting this list of Veteran’s Day freebies as new offers come along.

Applebee’s is offering a free meal on Friday, which is Veterans Day. Military veterans and active service members have their choice of 7 meals off Applebee’s menu that is free.

Outback Steakhouse is offering a five day (Mon Nov 7 – Fri Nov 11) free blooming onion and a coke product drink for past and present military. (Military ID required)

Chili’s is offering one of six meal choices for free for veterans and active duty military.

Denny’s (participating restaurants) is offering a free Grand Slam Breakfast from 6am to 10pm to any veteran or active military. This is available in participating Denny’s only so you need to call ahead first. Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo Denny’s are offering this.

Hooters
(at participating restaurants) is offering a free meal to veterans and active military. The free meal is 10 free wings boneless or regular when you buy a drink.

TGI Fridays (at participating locations) offers a buy one meal get one free to US Military personal and veterans on Nov. 11th.
Seven Eleven is offering up a free Slurpee from 11am to 7pm on Veteran’s Day.

Subway
participating stores will offer a free six inch or flatbread sandwich for lunch from 11am to 2pm for vets and active duty military service members.

Krispy Kreme participating stores will offer a free donut on November 11th for Veteran Day to past and present military.

Thanks, The Military Wallet!
