Making Money At Home
I’m hearing some positive things about “Get Paid To Try.” I only have one girlfriend who’s participating, but Annette is very pleased. You’ll earn money for the usual surveys, etc. but most participants are sent most or nearly all the products to try out. You’ll enter in for a $20.00 cash bonus when you sign up, and after you complete your surveys, will be paid within 48 hours. Annette strongly suggests using Paypal. Click here to apply, and let us know if you’re accepted so we can follow along. Good luck!

Making Money At Home: Ipsos i-Say Panel
I held off on recommending the Ipsos i-Say Panel until I could get confirmation on how it works. This recommendation comes from my girlie Candice…
“Ipsos is the third ‘Make Money At Home’ program I’ve tried, and it’s definitely the best. My biggest gripe with some of these programs is how hard it is to actually make any money. I’d spend half an hour on a survey for one of the other companies and find out it was worth 50 cents! You can either cash out your Ipsos points or get gift cards. One new option I loved is the opportunity to turn some of your points into a donation for charity. Since my church tithes 10%, I try to give 10% of my earnings from Ipsos into the charity program.
Let’s see: I’ve tried out shampoo, candy, a car cleaner and hair ties. I’m actually jealous of Erin for having a baby–because there’s tons of diaper offers! You won’t get rich, but if you’re willing to do surveys as they come along, you get sent more and more. Give it a try!”
So, there you go. A recommendation from my vastly more organized girlfriend. Now, I’m going to go smack her for not taking the diaper surveys so I could score free diapers for Zoe. Click here to apply–and let us know if you get in! Good luck!

Making Extra Money Through Surveys
I’m pretty sure that 99.99% of us are always looking for extra was to make money. The “work at home” sites can be a big help–IF you remember these two rules:
1. You will NOT get rich. Not with any of these. But you can make enough extra money to allow your family to live more comfortably, pay extra bills or get out of debt.
2. You need to be consistent. The best survey sites will reward you with better and better options if you respond promptly, fill everything out correctly, and stay on top of the offers. Set aside some time every day–or every other day–to spend on the site.
Now, you and I both know perfectly well that not every “Your Opinion Counts!” ad is legitimate. Here’s the ones that I have tried myself or have friends who can vouch for their legitimacy. Take a look and see what might work for you.
Hands down, my personal favorite: Pinecone Research is taking new applicants, and it’ll likely close quickly, so apply now if you’re interested. Pinecone pays $3.00 a survey, they pay promptly, and I’ve often received study goodies to try–everything from hair conditioner to ice cream. Click here to apply.
Synovate: One of the most highly-recommended survey companies. Synovate sign up is FREE and you’ll get great paying survey and product testing opportunities each month. This one is famous for frequently giving free full size products. I’ve test out everything from diapers–got a full pack!–to a high-end hair color.
Inbox Dollars: I used Inbox Dollars primarily for the money you could earn for reading emails. It isn’t a huge payout, by any means, but it also doesn’t require much more than clicking on a few emails everyday and earning a few cents. Go here to sign up.
MyPoints: This is a site that rewards you points for online activity such as reading emails, taking surveys and signing up for offers. When I was participating in this, I mostly just read the emails and clicked on the links and slowly accumulated points. You won’t get rich quickly doing this, but you can earn enough points by reading emails to get free gift cards each year. Go here to sign up.
SurveySpot: This company pays up to $5.00 per survey and you can request payout when you have earned $5.00. It’s not hard at all to earn enough to get a check. Go here to sign up.
Opinion Outpost: Pays in point rewards for every completed survey. You can cash these in for instant win opportunities, sweepstakes, or cash. There are also opportunities to do free product testing. Go here to sign up.

UPDATE: offer filled up already. I’ll let you know when it re-sets. Bummer, eh?
I first started with Pinecone Research when I was testing out the “make money at home” systems. Two years later, it’s still my favorite. Simple product reviews, and I often got the item to try out at home. They pay $3.00 per survey–not enough to make you rich, but they pay promptly and the money starts adding up. Sadly, I am NOT one of them.) Sneaky inside tip: be entered into their sweepstakes to win an iPad for registering through this link.
Sneaky inside tip #2: Valued Opinions has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, so they’re one of the few I feel comfortable recommending to you.

Pinecone Research Is Back!
Pinecone Research is still my favorite “make money at home” option. They pay $3.00 per survey, and they pay promptly. Once again, no one system will make you rich, but those checks do add up. I like the fact that they’ll often send me the product the survey’s based on to try out at home. They haven’t recruited new people for a while, so you may want to apply now. by clicking here.

Earn A Dollar Per Survey With Dollar Surveys
My sister and I are casting around for extra ways to make money at home…I think my reason is obvious (this is our new daughter Zoe and her Daddy’s gigantic paw.) Dollar Surveys is new and very straightforward: earn a dollar per completed survey. According to my girlie Candace, she can burn through 20-25 surveys per session, which is another $25.00 a day for her. Once again, no one way will make you rich with the “Survey and Review For Profit” scenarios, but consistency will add those checks up. Click here to join.

Three “New Work At Home” Options
I had to hold off for a couple of days before posting these, I always find someone who’s in the program to see how it’s working and what they think. Glowing reviews for both–so here you go.
Panda Research gives you $3.00 to $75.00 for every survey you complete, along with around .25-.50 cents per email you read. Once again, no one system will make you rich, but my girlie who’s been in Panda for about 6 months reports she’s made around $200.00 weekly by working very hard. Click here to take a look.
Inbox Pays is also looking good for financial return–and they’ll pay you $5.00 as a signing bonus. Signing up is free–personally, I would never recommend paying money to join a “work at home” program. While a couple are legitimate, why pay your money when you don’t have to? Click here to register.
Digitwirl is a little different–it simply teaches you to use already established systems-like Ebay–to make money. It’s also an organizational site and can teach you new sites and apps to help streamline your life. It’s free, of course. Click here to take a look around.

Looking To Make Money At Home?
Top tier for the “Work At Home” scenarios has to be anything with the National Consumer Panel. Homescan: Generation Pop is accepting new applications again–a landline is not required to be a panelist here. You simply track your purchases with a scanner and upload them nightly. Rewards-wise, Homescan is one of the best for a return on your efforts. I always repeat this: NO “work at home” scenario will make you rich. But if you’re willing to put in a little effort, it could be a handy source of extra income. Let us know if you make it in! Enter here–it’s a short form. Good luck!

Mindfield Is Back!

Making Money At Home
I’m instantly suspicious of anyone who tells you that you can make a “zillion bucks from the comfort of your own home!” What I have found after 18 months of trying out some systems and talking with others in the That Went Well community who do the same, is this: you can make money if you’re consistent and willing to keep up on the requirements. Some companies pay more for a desired age or ethnic demographic, that’s something I rarely am told they’re looking for. I don’t trust any company that requests money from you to get started.
The one that consistently pops up as well-paying and highly reputable are the HomeScan Panels. They’re rarely open, so jump on this one immediately if you’re interested. It’s the National Consumer Panel Gen Pop–no land line is required, and they’ll send you a scanner to upload information on your purchases and shopping habits. They pay promptly, and they pay well. My girlie Tori just received her scanner, so I’ll keep you updated. Click here to get started, it’s a short form, and definitely worth your time. Let me know if you get in!

New Money-Maker: Synovate
I ran through the application process first before posting, since I’m new to Synovate Research. I have a couple of girlies in the That Went Well community who’ve been really happy with them. You’ll earn points for every survey you take–the surveys themselves involve about 10 minutes or so of your time. As you add them up, you can choose to “spend” your points for various gift cards. There’s also random 2,000 winners monthly for everything from an Xbox 360 bundle to a $40.00 gift card. This is another good way to start earning money for the holidays. After a couple of surveys, I can cautiously say I really like how they’re running the program. Let me know what you think!

5 Reviews…$5.00 Bucks!
![]()
I’m seeing more and more money-making opportunities with writing online reviews for products you’ve used. Often, it doesn’t even have to be a recent purchase. The latest is an easy way to begin: KMART.com is asking you to write 5 quick reviews for a $5.00 Kmart gift card. Be honest–not every review has to be glowing, just be sincere and specific about what you liked and what you didn’t. There’s categories here to pick from. Writing 6 reviews also puts you in the running for a $5,000 gift card. Crack your knuckles and hit the keyboard, honey!

Homescan Pop is new, if you’re one of those young people who doesn’t have a landline, you were out of the running to be a member of the Nielsen Homescan Panels. Want To Make Some Extra Money? Here’s Some Good Starters…
I’m starting to gather some of the best “make money at home” opportunities here–the sooner we all start building our credits for the holidays, the better. No one of these will make you rich, but I’m a big believer in multiple streams of income. The trick is finding the best return for your time. These are my current favorites, I can either vouch for them because I do them or a close friend has and can report back. Good luck!
ePoll: start building your gift card stash will simple polls and surveys. I like e-Poll, because this one has a fairly quick return on your effort.
NCP Neilson Homescan is the most prestigious of the research groups. They pay well through an excellent selection of gift cards. I never know what magical zip code or demographic they’re looking for, but it’s definitely worth the try.
Pinecone Research is my personal favorite–their checks arrive promptly after every survey I take, and we’ve often gotten the products to try out! I know they’re very focused on getting women 18-24 right now.
Inbox Dollars offers a $5.00 bonus for signing up–you read emails, take surveys, play games…this is a good cash program, and they pay quickly.

New Offer From Nielsen Homescan!
Interesting…Homescan Pop is a member of the prestigious Nielsen Research Group, which is the top tier of all the research companies. They pay the most, they’re the most reputable. Anyway, in the past you had to have a landline to participate, because you’re uploading information. They’ve just come out with Homescan Pop, no landline needed. If you’ve applied before and got turned down because of the landline issue, give it another try. I took a look, and this is a short form. Good luck! Let us know if you get in…
NCP Homescan Is Accepting New Applicants!
NCP Homescan is the top tier of the “make money at home” programs. It’s from the prestegious Nielson Group–the best prizes, best opportunities to make money. You use their scanner to upload information on your purchases and buying habits. This how companies learn to track buying trends for consumers in your age group/zip code/whatever mysterious quality they’re looking for. It’s a bit of work, but the girlies who’ve done it tell me it’s incredibly fast once you get the hang of it. There’s quite a bit of money to be made if you’re consistent. The Todd and I have applied 3 times and have never gotton in. Click here to apply. If you make it, let us know! I’m proud to say several of the That Went Well girlies have gotton their scanners. Good luck…

The National Consumer Panel Is Accepting New People!
This is part of the prestigious Neilsen Group, they pay the best, and they’ve got the best swag. The NCP is accepting new people–I never know what age demographic or zip code they need, and unfortunately for ME, it’s never mine. However, I will cheer for you if you get in! These openings don’t seem to last long, so apply now if you’re interested. (Editor’s note: if you get accepted, will you let me know? I want to know what they’re looking for this time.) Click here to apply, and good luck!
The Nielsen Panel Is Back!
I got a couple of interesting questions the other day: the Nielsen Panel is accepting new applicants for it’s consumer research division. First, this IS free to join. I never offer a “make money at home” option that asks for money from you to get started. Even though there may be a few reputable services that require this, there are way too many good options that don’t. Second, the Nielsen Panel is the creme de la creme of the consumer research groups–they pay the most, they offer the best swag, and they are deadly serious about what they do. Third, it takes a little time to get used to scanning everything you buy, but the rewards are fantastic and it’s a very user-friendly system. They don’t open up for new people very often. If you’re interested, apply right away. And finally, yes, The Todd and I have applied three times for this panel. Apparently, we’re never in the right zip code or age group or whatever…we never know what they’re looking for, but I’ve never heard a single negative comment from anyone involved with Nielson. Good luck!
