Hey, It’s Your Birthday!
Yahoo has an interesting article today about a pile of chain restaurants and shops who are willing to roll out the red carpet if your driver’s license says it’s your birthday. Take a look and keep them in mind for your big day.
25% off dinner at Ruby Tuesday’s!
For one of the nights you can’t even work the microwave…and seriously, how many times can you sponge off your mother? 25% off your entire check at Ruby Tuesday’s! This doesn’t include alcohol or gratuity. It’s good through 2.7.10. You can print your coupon here.
Free-Bee Disney Blu-Ray For Your Birthday!
If you’re Disney Movie Rewards member, you get a FREE Blu-ray on your birthday! Couponing To Disney has all the details.
Hey, It’s Your Birthday!
Be sure to check our Birthday Free-Bees section as we approach your special day. There’s a pile of retailers and restaurant types who want to party with you, who knew? Hey, It’s Free! has one of the most comprehensive lists I’ve seen. Happy Birthday!
(Editor’s note: I used to deal with record label people a lot…there was one guy named Norm who’d always hawk the label’s latest release and then say, “you know, I like to give presents for yer birthday. ” Meaningful pause. “And it could be yer birthday every day!” Since that’s not how I added records to our station playlist, it was never my birthday with Norm. Of course…I’m not the one in prison right now, either.)
Important comment I wanted to share:
Crystal Warren
Jan 19, 2010 at 8:29 pm
I just wanted to comment on going to restaurants on your birthday…Just remember when you get a free meal or discount on your birthday to remember to tip your server on what the bill would be without the discount or free meal..they have to pay taxes on the gratuity (in most states) whether you tip them or not. And they do the same amount of work for a lesser bill SO BE FAIR!!!!!!!!!!
SUCH a good point! For those of us who have made their living in the restaurant business, it’s crucial. Remember that your server WILL be taxed on your tab–whether you tip or not.
Save up to 60% at the Company Kid’s Sale

Resolution: read to my children more
Given my limited control over my credit card at the bookstore, this offer is a no-brainer for the Collard Clan–get 6 children’s books for only $2.00! There’s a free gift with membership, and you buy four more books sometime during the year. They’re always 30% off retail! Sneaky inside tip: you can burn off 2 of those requirements and pick up 2 more books right now for $4.95 each! I got 3 “Magic Treehouse” books, 2 “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” books, “Polar Express” and 2 others for $11.90 total! Sweet! If I’d paid full retail, all 8 books would have cost me $128.97! Click here to see all your choices. If you aren’t happy with the plan, you can return everything (keep your gift) within the month for no obligation.

Zhu Zhu Pets Still Available
Walmart’s promising that there will be Zhu Zhu Pets this morning starting at 7am at all Walmart stores for $8.00. Based on what I’ve seen on EBay, this is a dynamite price. Toys R’ Us also swears up and down that they’re restocking the little robotic fellas today and tomorrow, but no promises on how many per store. I’d call ahead first.
“Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure” for $4.99!
Insanely good deals at Toys R’ Us!
There’s piles of $5.00 off coupons for diapers, wipes and formula. Children and infant’s outerwear are 50% off! Mind you, these are for Rewards members, but you can quickly sign up online on in the store. Coupon Dad has kindly provided the ad circular here. These deals are good through Thursday, 12.24.
One of the things I appreciate most about Toys R’ Us is their effort to focus on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. There’s a new study out from the CDC showing that a galactic one in 70 boys will be diagnosed on the Spectrum. The Autism Moms I know are goddesses–every one on them. There’s a special gift guide for these little sweeties here from Toys R’ Us.
Like E.L.F. cosmetics? Here’s another $5.00 to spend next time!
Make any ELF cosmetic purchase at Target, send your receipt HERE and you’ll get a $5.00 ELF.com coupon by mail.

Free-Bee doughnuts and gift tags from Krispy Kreme!
Update: apparently, no Utah locations of Krispy Kreme are participating in this offer. Sounds like some franchise owners will be getting coal in their stockings this year…
Buy a dozen donuts at Krispy Kreme by December 25 and get 12 free holiday gift tags. Okay, free gift tags are nice on their own, but there’s a free donut coupon on the back of each gift tag. Nice! The free donut coupons are valid the entire month of January. Be sure to check out this list of participating stores first to make sure your store has them.
Thanks, Coupon Cravings!
