Local Free-Bee Fun

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Jul 31, 2010 in Free-Bees Giveaways, Free-or Cheap-Family Fun

nightDinosaurs!  Bugs!  Things that squish and crawl!  Is it any wonder that my Zachie and MacLean totally dig the Utah Museum of Natural History?  If you haven’t stopped by this summer, you can explore creepy dinosaur skeltons, gooey bugs and the new “Dino Show.”  It’s free-bee admission this Monday (8.2) click here for directions and more info.

discoveryAnd here’s one to mark on your calendar for later.  The Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum is offering free-bee admission on Tuesday,  August 17th, thanks to a grant from Ernst and Young.   You can find directions and info here.

Free-Bee Day At Discovery Gateway!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Mar 15, 2010 in Free-Bees Giveaways, Free-or Cheap-Family Fun

2Hey, locals, get a look at this: Discovery Gateway opens it’s doors this Wednesday (3.17.10) for free.  We have a family pass–and get our money’s worth, believe me–but it is a little spendy if you only make it there once a year.

4Enjoy the Big Beehive of music, the cool helicopter on the pad outside, create your own stop-motion movie, all for free!  I’m warning you, there’s way too much to fit in one day, so you’ll likely end up getting a family pass, just like me.  ;)   There’s more info here.
