Trying To Go Organic?

veggieEven little efforts will start adding up.  Type your zip code into the search engine at www.eatwellguide.org and it’ll tell you how to find nearby suppliers of organic and sustainably produced foods.

This is the time to start looking at community gardens if your little patch of land won’t support a vegetable patch.   Go to www.communitygarden.org for locations near you.  Even better, there’s support and advice for starting your own neighborhood cooperative!

I’ve posted about food co-ops before, but whenever I do the response is overwhelming positive from the That Went Well community.  Here’s a good way to find your local one: www.localharvest.org/food-coops/   Sneaky inside tip: this is a great way to find local farms and farmer’s markets as well.
