Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Jul 15, 2010 in Coupons, Resources

gardenHome Depot is everyone’s go-to for summer, but even more so at the Collard Household, now that we’ve joined the Home Depot Garden Club.  It’s a free-bee signup, and you’ll get huge coupons for everything from plants to bbq charcoal.  They’ve sent us notices for BOGO free plants and first shot at garden department sales.  Sign up here!

toolbeltThere’s also the Home Depot Home Improver’s Club, where another free signup gets you inside tips and early access to sales, killer coupons, and expert advice.  We took our 50% off lighting coupon from signing up to pick out an amazing chandelier for the front hall for $79.99!  Click here to sign up–it’s free.

movingNow, if you’re moving, The Home Depot Movers program is wonderful.  You’ll sign up for free and get 10% off everything from boxes to bubble wrap.  Great ideas and finally! the definitive way to pack Nana’s china so it arrives in one piece.  Click here to sign up.

Viva La Home Depot!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on May 4, 2010 in Activist Mom, Resources

gardenWe joined the Home Depot Garden Club last week and love it–there’s all kinds of info for growing in your geographic zone, advice from specialty gardeners, even a place for you to post your pictures and admire others!  Of course, the best part are the coupons: $10.00 off on soil, BOGO free plants, 30% off a planter–and that’s just last week!  Sign up here.

toolbeltThen, there’s Home Depot Pro, this emailer used to be only for the contractors and such.  Now WE can get the same discounts, early alerts and enterance to sales, and special coupons.   The Todd saved a bundle on drywall and 4x4s during their last Pro Sale. Hurray for the amateurs!  Sign up here for your goodies.

tileAnd, last but not least, The Home Depot Home Improver Club: access to free-bee workshops, and monthly focus on new projects with great coupons to go along with them.  I followed along on the light fixture section…I learned how to change out my chandelier, and saved $45.00 on the one I replaced it with!  You can sign up here for the same deals.  This month, they’re focusing on laying tile.

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Apr 12, 2010 in Free-Bees Giveaways

The Todd runs through these fellas every month or two–so I’m scampering down.  Ace Hardware is offering a great free after rebate item… perfect for all of you working out in your gardens! Through the end of April, you can get these Leather Palmed Gloves (pictured above) for FREE after rebate. They are priced at $2.99 and you can submit for a $2.99 rebate. Final cost–hmmm, carry the three, add the one–free!

Thanks, Hip2Save!
