Gifts in a Jar…
A group of my equally finance-challenged girlfriends and I did this a few years back; we each got a case of Mason jars and had to come up with the most creative gifts packaged in the jars. Mine weren’t that clever (Editor’s note: yes, you’re so shocked, because you know what a Martha Stewart I am) I used my favorite chocolate chunk cookie recipe with the dry goods layered.
But my girlie Martha did a whole afternoon of kid’s activities in a jar…Caroline fit in a pair a shoes (don’t ask, it got weird) and Janna did the Mason jar Night of Romance. It was hysterical!
