New Money-Maker: Synovate

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Sep 26, 2010 in Surveys and Reviews For Profit, Working From Home

I ran through the application process first before posting, since I’m new to Synovate Research.  I have a couple of girlies in the That Went Well community who’ve been really happy with them.  You’ll earn points for every survey you take–the surveys themselves involve about 10 minutes or so of your time.  As you add them up, you can choose to “spend” your points for various gift cards.  There’s also random 2,000 winners monthly for everything from an Xbox 360 bundle to a $40.00 gift card.  This is another good way to start earning money for the holidays.  After a couple of surveys, I can cautiously say I really like how they’re running the program.  Let me know what you think!

New Offer From Nielsen Homescan!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Aug 31, 2010 in Surveys and Reviews For Profit, Working From Home

Interesting…Homescan Pop is a member of the prestigious Nielsen Research Group, which is the top tier of all the research companies.  They pay the most, they’re the most reputable.  Anyway, in the past you had to have a landline to participate, because you’re uploading information.  They’ve just come out with Homescan Pop, no landline needed.  If you’ve applied before and got turned down because of the landline issue, give it another try.  I took a look, and this is a short form.  Good luck!  Let us know if you get in…

The National Consumer Panel Is Accepting New People!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Jul 17, 2010 in Surveys and Reviews For Profit, Working From Home

This is part of the prestigious Neilsen Group, they pay the best, and they’ve got the best swag.  The NCP is accepting new people–I never know what age demographic or zip code they need, and unfortunately for ME, it’s never mine.  However, I will cheer for you if you get in!  These openings don’t seem to last long, so apply now if you’re interested.  (Editor’s note: if you get accepted, will you let me know?  I want to know what they’re looking for this time.)  Click here to apply, and good luck!

The Nielsen Panel Is Back!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on May 7, 2010 in Surveys and Reviews For Profit, Working From Home

houseyI got a couple of interesting questions the other day: the Nielsen Panel is accepting new applicants for it’s consumer research division.  First, this IS free to join.  I never offer a “make money at home” option that asks for money from you to get started.  Even though there may be a few reputable services that require this, there are way too many good options that don’t.  Second, the Nielsen Panel is the creme de la creme of the consumer research groups–they pay the most, they offer the best swag, and they are deadly serious about what they do.  Third, it takes a little time to get used to scanning everything you buy, but the rewards are fantastic and it’s a very user-friendly system.  They don’t open up for new people very often.  If you’re interested, apply right away.  And finally, yes, The Todd and I have applied three times for this panel.  Apparently, we’re never in the right zip code or age group or whatever…we never know what they’re looking for, but I’ve never heard a single negative comment from anyone involved with Nielson.  Good luck!

PineCone Research

UPDATE: OFFER IS OVER–ALL THE SLOTS ARE FILLED!  HOPE YOU MADE IT IN…GOOD LUCK!

Pinecone is my personal favorite when it comes to at-home money makers.  The research questions are actually interesting, they pay extremely promptly, and you usually end up trying out the product they quizzed you on.  If you’re in the 18-24 age group, you’re practically guaranteed an “in” with this particular opening.  Apply now!   They’ve only got 100 openings available.

The Neilsen Panel is accepting applicants again!

Posted by Erin (and sometimes The Todd) on Aug 26, 2009 in Unfiled Stuff

AC Nielsen is the world’s largest market research company and they are looking for people to participate in their Homescan consumer Panels. If you get accepted into their program you shop like you normally would, and then you scan your receipts into a small handheld scanner they provide. Once a week, you’ll transmit this information to Nielsen and you’ll earn points which can be redeemed for a variety of items from the Nielsen Gift Catalog. To join Nielsen’s Homescan Consumer Panel today go here to apply. (Editor’s note: they weren’t accepting anyone from my zip code, so please let me know if you get in–it would be fun to follow along!)
